Double-click / click-chatter test
Make 20 deliberate single clicks. BenchRush counts very rapid repeat events under 100 ms as a signal worth retesting — not as a definitive switch diagnosis.

Use the result as a baseline, not a diagnosis
BenchRush measures browser-visible input. If a result looks wrong, repeat the run, check focus and settings, compare another browser/device where practical, and use manufacturer diagnostics for hardware conclusions.
Questions people ask
Does one rapid event mean my mouse is broken?
No. Hand movement, browser timing and accidental double taps can create rapid intervals. Repeated results across multiple careful runs are more informative.
Why use 100 ms?
It is a deliberately strict “very rapid repeat” marker for this browser tool, not a universal hardware debounce specification.
How should I confirm a suspected faulty switch?
Repeat the test with slow intentional clicks, try another browser or computer, and use the manufacturer diagnostic or support process when available.
